Wentworth Falls and Rocket Point

This escarpment track takes you past Fletchers lookout and down to the top of Wentworth Falls. From the Falls, a quiet circuit leads to Rocket Point from where you get a birds-eye view of how the Undercliff Track and the National Pass cling to the cliff face, and just how narrow the ledges are.

Ascent/Descent: 110 metres descent, 110 metres ascent

Weather: Suitable for all conditions

Closest public transport: Local bus 685 runs past the corner of Fletcher St and Falls Rd, 500 metres from the picnic area.

Finding the track

From Wentworth Falls railway station, turn right onto the Great Western Highway and then first left into Falls Road. Follow Falls Road for 1.7 kilometres to very end, and then follow signs to your right down to Wentworth Falls Lookout.

Walk directions

From Wentworth Falls lookout, follow the signs to the National Pass, heading downhill all the way to the top of Wentworth Falls. Cross the top of the falls and about 20 metres further on, look for signs on your left indicating the start of Rocket Point circuit. From here, simply follow the signs.
